Meet the new Lab Manager: Mette Hejberg Pedersen
We are delighted to announce Mette Hejberg Pedersen as our new Lab Manager. As part of the management team, she will be responsible for the daily operations, external communication, and take part in development activities.
Mette has a background in linguistics and cognitive development. Prior to joining COBE Lab, she has worked as a student research assistent at the Department of English, completed a research internship at the School of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of St Andrews, and been involved with research at the Interacting Minds Centre (IMC).

Mette is replacing Marc Hye-Knudsen, who will be starting as a PhD fellow at the Department of Management in September. Our very own lab director Dan Mønster will be his co-supervisor. Marc has been with COBE Lab since August 2022 and has helped over 50 research projects, gone above and beyond in assisting researchers at the lab, and importantly been instrumental in increasing our participant pool through various recruitment initiatives.
