The Department of Law offers research-based Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD degree programmes in law and business law. As a student, you gain a solid theoretical understanding of rules, interpretation and legal method, while also learning to apply the law analytically in a broader societal context.

Bachelor's programmes

The Department of Law offers the Bachelor’s degree programmes in Law (BA in Law) and Business Administration and Commercial Law.

Master's programmes

The Department of Law offers the Master’s degree programme in Law and Business Administration and Commercial Law.

PhD programme in law

The PhD programme at the Department of Law is a salaried, three-year research programme in which, within a flexible framework, you conduct research on a self-chosen topic within one of the department’s academic fields, receive close supervision from experienced researchers and write a PhD dissertation.

Continuing and further education

The Department of Law offers the following continuing and further education programmes:

- Flexible Master’s degree programme in Law
- Law under the guest student scheme

The Elite Module (in Danish only)

Each year, the Department of Law admits selected students to the special Elite Module in the Master’s degree programme. The Elite Module has been developed in collaboration with the participating law firms to ensure the right profile for subsequent employment as an assistant attorney.
