The Hugo Sinzheimer Moot Court Competition 2017 in Aarhus will take place at three different locations.

The official welcoming ceremony takes place at the City Hall of Aarhus, where representatives from both the Mayor's office and Aarhus University will welcome you all.

Aarhus City Hall is a modern and functional building and an icon for Aarhus. The town hall is covered with Norwegian marble and is an expression of Danish design and architecture at its best. Aarhus Town Hall was designed by the internationally known architect Arne Jacobsen and Erik Møller and was built in 1937-1941. In 1994 the building was conservated.

We will use the Vandrehallen as our common room for mingling, information desk, coffees and lunch. All other rooms are within the department buildings no. 1410, 1411, 1412 and 1414.

Vandrehallen is at the center of Aarhus University, with the recognizable wavey floor and a view right through the building from the street to campus. Vandrehallen is used for fine functions and receptions. The Vandrehallen connects to the lovely Solgaarden, where it is possible to enjoy some sun and fresh air in lovely surroundings.

The entire day of competing will take place at the newly renovated Municipal Court building, Tinghuset.

Tinghuset has recently undergone a major renovation, is one of the landmark old buildings in Aarhus, and we are very pleased to be invited as guests to use the court room for the competition.

During breaks guests can easily pay a visit to the Aros Art Museum, including a walk in the Rainbow Walk, as Aros is just across the road from Tinghuset.
