Thursday:   

17.30 Official welcome at the City Hall by the mayors office.

The Hugo Moot Finale 2017 starts with an official Welcome to Aarhus City. The Mayor’s office invites participants, coaches and judges to a Welcoming Reception at the City Hall where we will be greeted by a representative of the City Council and by the Vice-Dean of Education, Aarhus BSS, Per Andersen.

After the Welcome at the City Hall busses will take all participants to the University to continue with the Cultural Evening.

18.45 Cultural Evening at Aarhus University, Vandrehallen.

The Hugo Moot continues with a cultural evening at Vandrehallen, Aarhus University. The idea of the evening is to get to know each other by sharing food and drinks, that are typical for the countries of the participating teams. All teams bring typical food or drinks of their choice for sharing. Furthermore, during the cultural evening the teams for the quarter-finals will be drawn.     

Friday:   

16.15 Guided tour of Aarhus University Campus. 

Get some fresh air, move your legs a little after a day of full-on competing. Enjoy a leisurely stroll with a guide round the lovely green campus, listen to tales of history, art, students and architecture. Starting point: Solgaarden / Vandrehallen.

19.30 Judges and coaches dinner at Café Hack. 

Dinner at Café Hack for jury-judges, coaches of the participating teams, members of the event-host organising committee, members of the Hugo Sinzheimer Organising Committee, and representatives from Kammeradvokaten law firm.

Saturday:   

19.30 Final dinner for all participants, coaches, judges, and volunteers at Globen Flakket.

Closing dinner for everyone at Globen Flakket. Have fun and celebrate together with nice food and drinks. 

22.00 Party time at Bernhardt Nightclub.

After the dinner the festivities continue at the nearby nightclub Bernhardt. A free drink is included, and the first hour we have reduced prices on drinks. Put on your dancing shoes and let’s party. 

Café Hack

Café Hack is located in the centre of Aarhus in the same building as Aarhus Theater. The Café is named after the architect Hack Kampmann, who designed Aarhus Theater. The café has a high gastronomic level and a "bubbly" and vibrant amosphere in beautiful surroundings. 

City Hall

Aarhus City Hall is a modern and functional building and an icon for Aarhus. The town hall is covered with Norwegian marble and is an expression of Danish design and architecture at its best. Aarhus Town Hall was designed by the internationally known architect Arne Jacobsen and Erik Møller and was built in 1937-1941. In 1994 the building was conservated. 

Globen Flakket

Globen Flakket is located in the centre of Aarhus' social scene ’by the Creek”. It is a Scandinavian restaurant, which offers a wide range of different courses and beverages. It has a cosy and relaxed atmosphere in intimate surroundings; a great place to enjoy each other’s company and nice food.

Vandrehallen

Vandrehallen is at the center of Aarhus University, with the recognizable wavey floor and a view right through the building from the street to campus. Vandrehallen is used for fine functions and receptions. The Vandrehallen connects to the lovely Solgaarden, where it is possible to enjoy some sun and fresh air in lovely surroundings.
