Law students ranked third among the world’s best universities

Law students from The Department of Law have proven that they are members of the world elite. Together with Harvard, they came third in a major international competition, only beaten by the Indian university Nalsar, which won the competition, and UCL in London, which took second place.

Wittgenstein, Language and Law
Wittgenstein is associated with ’the linguistic turn’, and for the last 80 years his thoughts have been discussed and used in a variety of contexts, also in legal theory. The seminar will introduce Wittgenstein’s philosophy and methods, the history of his ideas in jurisprudence and present cutting edge discussions of Wittgenstein in legal thinking.

CSR Conference
Department of Law hosts an international conference and PhD seminar on Corporate Social Responsibility - implementation of CSR and the law. The seminar is open to all interested businesses, researchers, PhD students and other people with a professional interest in the subject. We have assembled an international and inter-disciplinary group of key-presenters and discussants that will focus on CSR responses from a legal as well as a broader social science perspective.
