CSR Legal Research Network

Welcome to the official webpage of the Corporate Social Responsibility Legal Research Network!

About us

The CSR Legal Research Network was founded in late 2011 in Aarhus, Denmark by a group of international academics working with the combined fields of Corporate Social Responsibility and law. The founding members comprised PhD students as well as internationally  renowned professors and associate professors from Denmark, Finland, Great Britain, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland and Sweden. The Network enjoys the support of such internationally renowned research institutions as the Aarhus University and the Copenhagen University of Denmark.

The main goal of the Network is to connect academics, whose research is related to the combined field of CSR and law or those who are contemplating such research. To our knowledge, our Network is the first research-oriented organization, which is focusing solely on the combined field of CSR and law, and on connecting researchers within this combined field internationally.

The Network is facilitating communication and knowledge sharing between its members by setting up a central mailing service through which the members can interact with each other about issues related to the field of CSR and law. In addition, the Network is setting up a webpage on which members can inform each other about their research interests, news related to CSR and law, upcoming relevant events, and relevant articles. The Network is also planning to organize research events for furthering knowledge about the combined field of CSR and law in the future. For the achievement of these objectives the Network is also planning to obtain funds from external sources. The Network has already organized a PhD course on “Regulating Sustainability and CSR” and has obtained funds for this event from JurForsk – the Danish Legal Research Education Programme.
